The sampling personnel shall prepare the collection materials: quick hand disinfectant, pharyngeal swab collection tube, cotton swab and special transfer box for pharyngeal swab samples.

The sampling personnel shall wear secondary protection: hand hygiene - > wear medical protective mask - → wear work cap → wear medical protective clothing - → wear goggles or protective face screen → wear latex gloves → wear shoe covers → shoe cover

Before collection, the secretions in the front of the nasal cavity should be removed, the relevant medical history of the nasal cavity should be asked, and whether to collect nasal swabs should be considered → confirm the information with the collected personnel and make registration on the collection registration book and nucleic acid test application form → mark the number, name and other information of the collected personnel on the sampling tube.

Enter the collection room → check the information of the collected person again and ask if there are contraindications (if there are secretions in the nasal cavity, clean the nasal cavity before collecting) → seven hand washing method to eliminate hands.

Communicate with the person to be collected: let the person to be collected take a proper position and tilt his head back → the collector stands in front of the person to be collected.

The collector gently holds the pillow of the collected person with one hand and the nasal swab with the other hand → enter the nasal swab into the nasal cavity at a 90 ° angle with the patient's face, and slowly penetrate backward along the bottom of the lower nasal tract. When the top of the swab reaches the rear wall of the nasopharynx cavity, rotate it gently for 3-5 circles, and stay for a moment in case of reflective choking cough.

After collection, immerse the swab head into the sampling tube containing 3ml virus preservation solution, discard the tail → tighten the tube cover

Hand disinfection → disinfect the surface of the sampling tube with disinfectant → check the information of the sampled person on the application form again → disinfect the outer gloves again after the operation → collect the next person

Put the collection tube into the sealed bag individually or collectively → disinfect the surface of the sealed bag with disinfectant and put it into the sample barrel (note that it cannot be inverted) → tighten the barrel cover of the sample barrel and disinfect its surface

Recheck the information of the sampled person on the application form → put the application form into the sealed bag → disinfect the surface of the sealed bag with disinfectant → put the sample barrel and the application form into the sample transfer box with ice raft → disinfect the transfer box again → lock the transfer box and disinfect the external surface

Hand over to the transfer personnel for transportation (or transfer to the superior hospital by special personnel).
